One green step, for the #greatergood of our home.
Soapnut has long been used by our ancestors as a natural cleaning agent. This fruit produces a natural lather and contains saponin, a compound that acts as a natural cleanser capable of lifting dust, dirt, and grease. Soapnut trees thrive in Indonesia, particularly on the islands of Java and Sumatra. The fruit can be harvested once the tree reaches 9 years old, and it continues to bear fruit until around 90 years of age.
This soapnut-based cleaner is 100% natural and free from synthetic chemicals. It can be used as laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, hand soap, and more. It comes packaged in a cassava bag or bioplastic made from tapioca extract, making it biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
