As its name suggests, demibumi (“for the earth”) is a reflection of Jessica and Juliana’s commitment to caring for and preserving a beautiful, healthy planet for future generations. As mothers, they believe that the earth is not something we inherit from our ancestors, but something we borrow from our children — and it is our responsibility to protect and nurture it before passing it back to them.
Motivated by this belief, Jessica and Juliana started demibumi to help raise awareness about the importance of sustainable living. One of their core missions is to reduce the use of single-use plastics, which generate non-biodegradable waste and pollute both land and sea.
Through demibumi, they aim to spread goodness, inspire change, and offer practical solutions for reducing plastic consumption in daily life. They believe that every meaningful change begins with ourselves. With demibumi, they invite others to join in caring for the earth — so it can remain a safe, livable home for generations to come.
