Soapnut (lerak) has long been used by our ancestors as a natural cleanser. This unique fruit creates a gentle lather and contains saponin, a natural compound that effectively lifts dirt, oil, and dust. Native to Indonesia—especially on the islands of Java and Sumatra—soapnut trees begin to bear fruit at around 9 years of age and can continue producing for up to 90 years.
This all-natural soap bar doubles as both a body soap and shampoo, crafted from soapnut and processed naturally. It’s suitable for all skin and hair types. Each bar is wrapped in compostable bioplastic made from cassava, making it an eco-friendly and zero-waste choice. Proudly 100% local and made in collaboration with Burat Wangi, the soap is produced through a traditional cold process (saponification) using only natural ingredients.
This soap is 100% natural, hypoallergenic, and free from added fragrance, making it gentle enough for all skin and hair types. It is made using the cold process (saponification) method, which preserves the nourishing properties of its natural ingredients. With an average pH of 10, it cleanses effectively while remaining mild on the skin.
