Also called "Red Tea," rooibos is an herb indigenous to the Cederberg region of South Africa. Known for its calming effects, rooibos has a deep, earthy vanilla taste and is rich in antioxidants.

From its beginnings in 1999, Numi has worked with the same small-scale organic rooibos farmers in South Africa. This long-standing partnership has brought economic benefits to the region. Revenue from sales has been used to support local schools, gender equality and HIV/AIDS prevention.
